BIOGRAPHY
Marko Srdjevic (1977, Belgrade, Yugoslavia) completed his basic and higher musical education at The Isidor Bajic Musical School in Novi Sad, Yugoslavia. The most of his musical and interpretation skills he gained from eminent professors and guitar performers Srdjan Tosic from the Academy of Music in Belgrade, and Zoran Krajisnik from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad.
Since 1997 he has been studying 5-year masters studies at the Academy of Music (Hudobna a Tanecna Fakulta Vysokej Skoly Muzickych Umeni), Bratislava - Slovak Republic. Recently he has completed his first 3-year term and received B.A. degree in the class of professor Jozef Zapka. He is now continuing his masters studies, but in the meantime he is recognized as prominent guitarist and has got an engagement from The QSI - International School in Bratislava, where he is giving private lectures of classical guitar to young students from all over the world.
The record of Marko Srdjevic live performances has it's origin in early nineties and includes performances in Novi Sad, Zemun and Smederevo (Yugoslavia), Banjaluka (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Vukovar (Croatia), Balasdjarmat (Hungary), and Bratislava (Slovakia). His first soloist concert took place in Novi Sad (Yugoslavia) in June 1997, and last two in Novi Sad and Pozarevac (Yugoslavia) in December 1998. In 1997 Marko Srdjevic recorded his first CD.
He attended classical guitar interpretation courses of professors Fogaroshi Bella (Hungary), Srdjan Tosic (Yugoslavia), John W. Duarte (England), Nikita Koshkin (Russia), and master course of world wide recognized classical guitar composer and performer Dusan Bogdanovic (USA).
Marko Srdjevic won classical guitar awards at the Republic of Serbia Musical Competition (1996, Belgrade), and Petar Konjovic International Musical Competition (1996, Belgrade).
